Pollstar elege Beyoncé como a maior ‘Artista da Década em Turnê’

Beyoncé foi eleita “Artista da Década em Turnê” na 32º Pollstar Awards, premiação que teve como foco a indústria da música, honrando turnês, shows, festivais e outros eventos que giram em torno do setor e do entretenimento no geral. A premiação foi realizada na noite de quarta-feira (16).

Sendo a grande homenageada da noite, Beyoncé recebeu destaque, especialmente, pela “Formation Tour”. Com 49 shows, a artista arrecadou 256 milhões de dólares com todos os shows esgotados. A estimativa de audiência, como foi divulgado, era de 2.2 milhões de pessoas.

Quem também recebeu destaque foi Lady Gaga, que garantiu o título de maior “Artista Pop da Década em Turnê”, com destaque especial para a “The Born This Way Ball Tour”, turnê de divulgação do disco “Born This Way” que completa 10 anos este ano. Com 98 apresentações, a turnês, que passou pelo Brasil em 2012, arrecadou cerca de 190 milhões de dólares. A estimativa de audiência, como foi divulgado, era de 1.9 milhões de pessoas.

Outro artista em destaque por seus grandes espetáculos foi Bruno Mars, eleito como o maior “Artista de R&B da Década em Turnê”. O artista recebeu destaque pela “24K Magic World Tour” que com 204 apresentações arrecadou cerca de 300 milhões de dólares.

Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks e Jennifer Lopez também foram eleitos como os maiores artista em turnês em seus respectivos gêneros musicais. Além deste, o Coachella foi eleito como o “Festival Musical da Década”, sendo esta a primeira vez que festival ganha o título.
