Foram reveladas as categorias e os indicados do MTV Europe Music Awards 2020, que acontece ao vivo no dia 8 de novembro. Nesta edição, o show será diferente, é claro, devido às condições impostas pela pandemia. Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK, Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber, BTS e Cardi B estão todos concorrendo ao cobiçado prêmio da MTV.
